This sweet couple came all the way from California to get married at the base of the mountains! The Barn at Sunset Ranch offers incredible backdrop views for wedding ceremonies. Just outside the down of Buena Vista, this is the perfect venue for breathtaking views while not feeling like your in the middle of nowhere! With clean and bright looking getting ready spaces, you can feel confident that your gallery will turn out beautiful!

Julie and Carson were one of the most beautiful couples I have ever had in fornt of my camera. They were not only beautiful on the inside but equally beautiful on the inside. They Chose to have a destination wedding where they exceeded expectations on attendance and had everyone they loved their. Which should tell you how special they truly were. Julie’s taste in design for this wedding made for gorgeous and unique photos making some of my favorites of the year. Not only did they slay the color scheme, but also one of the biggest mistakes couples make on wedding days. They stayed together during their reception so they were able to get pictures of them together all night!

If your getting married with a gorgeous mountain back drop, then Barn at Sunset Ranch is a great option.

Thing to keep in mind when looking for a venue in colorado.
1. Colorado Venues with amazing views of the mountains usually means you have to account for the sun going behind the mountains between 30-40 minutes early! Meaning you need to plan to have your ceremony earlier.
2. A lot of Colorado Venues think since they have gorgeous views that they don’t need to think about their other spaces and how they effect what your gallery looks like. For example, If you want bright and classy wedding photos, then you need to make sure your space as proper window light and lighter colored walls. I see to often venues who have very little window light with dark wood walls. Those will cause your photos to be very dingy looking and your skin tones to turn out unflattering.
